Overcoming Evil with Good

“Lord, you have destroyed the wicked; blotted out even their names so they will never be remembered.” (Psalm 9: 5)

Those who are evil may be powerful for a season but in the end won’t even be remembered.

Lord,

   There are those who are evil and powerful,

      Yet, your power prevails and wipes them even from history.

   Help me to rest in confidence of your power,

      Be at peace as I remember your promise,

      And see you overcome their evil with your righteousness.
