Living a Bright and Shining Light

“Look lovingly on me and answer my prayers my Lord.  Brighten me with your light of life.” (Psalm 13: 3)

Around us may at times seem dark but God fills us with his light of life.

Father,

   No matter how dark my surroundings you’ve filled me with your light,

     And your light brightens my heart and clarifies my way.

   Fill me with your light continually,

      Forgive me for focusing to often on the darkness,

      Help me to hold your promises and look towards your light.
