Have a Day Filled with Joy

“This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)

Lord, thank you for this new day,

fresh to enjoy,

blessed by you.

Fill it with all you have promised,

all of your perfect gifts.

Fill me with joy,

instead of focusing on challenges,

help me focus on promises.

And I rejoice,

in your gift,

your blessings,

and your presence.
