Strength When You Lack Strength

“Get away from me, you who are trying to hurt me.  For the Lord has heard my prayers.” (Psalm 6: 8)

There may be those who have power to overcome you but God’s power is never overcome.

Father,

   I have been hurt by some who have more power than me,

      Yet, I know they don’t have more power than you.

      And you hear my prayers and act in your power.

   Save me from those who may hurt me,

      Surround me with your protection,

      Let me see your powerful completion.
