Courage in the Face of Enemies

“My enemies turned and ran when you appeared, they stumbled and disappeared.” (Psalm 9: 3)

No matter how powerful your enemies God’s presence causes them to disappear.

Father,

   Sometimes I feel like I’m surrounded by enemies,

      Yet, I know they disappear when you appear.

   Overcome my enemies with your presence,

      Overcome my fear with your peace,

      Overcome my timidity with your power.
