Sunday Music: “Remember When It Rained” by Josh Groban & Judith Hill

Wow!  What a powerful song and a beautiful rendition.

This is one of my favorite Josh Groban songs.  As I listen to the words they just touch my soul.

“Tears of hope run down my skin.

Tears for you that will not dry.

They magnify the one within.

And let the outside slowly die.”

I hope it encourages you on your Sunday.

Sunday Music: “Beautiful” by MercyMe

A wonderful reminder that no matter what we’ve been through we were created beautiful in God’s eyes.

The world may tell us we’re nothing.  But God created us perfectly in his image.

An uplifting song.  Hope it blesses you this Sunday.

Sunday Music: “The Prayer” with Andrea Bocelli & Celine Dion

An absolutely stunning performance that brings tears to my eyes when I watch it.

A heartfelt prayer, written beautifully in song and sung by two amazing singers.  What more could we ask for?

I hope you find it as uplifting as I do.

Sunday Music: “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion

A beautiful song and video filled with scenes from the movie “Titanic” of which this was the title song.

Having lost loved ones, as you have, I think it’s a great reminder that there is a quality of love that truly transcends time and place.  It is a gift from God who himself is love and it lasts for eternity.

I hope you find it uplifting and perhaps healing on this Sunday.

Sunday Music: “God Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts

A favorite song that has so many layers of meaning.

I think we can all relate to the broken times in our lives.

For me this song speaks of how God has used those broken roads to lead me back to him and into his amazing life.

I hope you enjoy it on your Sunday.

Sunday Music: “When I Think of You” with Michael W. Smith and the African Children’s Choir

Okay, it’s time for some toe tapping, heart lifting fun.

This performance simply brings a smile to my face as I see those children singing and dancing.

I hope it brightens your Sunday as well.

Sunday Music: “Going Home” Fallen Soldier Bagpipe Tribute

This video is particularly poignant for me today.  We buried my father-in-law, a World War 2 veteran, on Friday and this song was played by bagpipe at his service.

To each of you who have buried loved ones it always seems too soon no matter their age.

Thank God for the hope of seeing them again.

Blessings on this Sunday.

Sunday Music: “Finally Home” by MercyMe

This song touches me deeply as my wife’s father passed away last week.  At 95 he lived a long and full life and now he’s finally home.

I’m so glad for that hope of seeing him, my own mom and dad and friends who have gone before me.  I look forward to the reunion.

I hope you have that same hope.  And that this song brings you comfort on your Sunday.

Sunday Music: “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack

A little more country than usual but I like this video and the message of the song.

She is singing to her children but it’s a great reminder that this life is meant for dancing.

I hope you enjoy this on your Sunday and today you kick it up.
