Lord,

Your word alone gives life,

Because it alone has all power.

Thank you for guiding me with your word,

And giving me confidence through your promises.

Amen

“The words I have spoken to you are filled with the Spirit and give life.” (John 6: 63)

Lord,

Your word guides me into abundance of life,

And fills me with faith which unleashes your power.

Thank you for your word which directs me,

And your Spirit who empowers me.

Amen

The Father will show even greater works through the Son than what he has already done.  And you will be amazed. (John 5: 20)

Father,

Your power is without limit,

And your love without boundaries,

Thank you for your power in my needs,

And your love for my hurts.

Amen

Whatever the Father does the Son does also. (John 5: 19)

Lord,

Your power is beyond any other,

Because it’s the power of God himself.

Thank you for pouring your power into me,

And unleashing your power around me.

Amen

Jesus said, “My father is working every moment and so am I.” (John 5: 17)

Lord,

Thank you that you are working in my life every moment,

Even in those times when I don’t see you working.

You promise you will work all things for good for me,

Help me to rest and take peace in your promise.

“God is spirit and those who are his true worshipers will worship him by the power of his Spirit and by the knowledge of his truth.” (John 4: 24)

Father,

Thank you for giving me the power of your Spirit,

And the guidance of your truth,

Help me never to doubt your unfailing power,

Or to ignore your perfect guidance.

“The Father loves the Son and has given him power over everything.” (John 3: 35)

Father,

Thank you for giving Jesus all power,

And for all the blessings I have received through his power.

Give me your gifts, bless me in your power,

And help me to believe in your power so I can see it.

“The one whom God sent speaks the very words of God because God filled him with his Spirit without limit.” (John 3: 34)

Father, 

Thank you that you loved me enough to send your Son,

And for your words which guide me every day.

Help me to hear your guidance,

And trust it so I might see it fulfilled.
