“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives it. Don’t troubled or afraid.” (John 14:27)
Lord,
Thank you for your gift of peace,
Especially in times when there’s no reason for peace.
Fill me with your gift,
Give me your peace that’s beyond understanding,
Beyond my power.
Help me to instead of worrying,
Rest in your love,
And rest in your peace.
I choose your peace rather than fear,
Because of your power,
And your promises.
Amen.
“Don’t be afraid. Those who are with us are greater than those who are against us.” (2 Kings 6:16)
God,
I praise you that even when opposed,
You surround me with your protecting angels.
Surround me now,
Send your angels,
Send your power.
Help me to not fear,
Fill me with your peace,
Help me rest in your comfort.
I will go forward in confidence,
Knowing I’m never alone,
Always surrounded by your power.
Amen.
“My grace is sufficient for you. My strength shines most fully in your weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
Father,
Thank you that when I’m weak you are strongest,
And your strength shines brightest.
Fill me with your power,
Overcome my weaknesses,
Shine brightly in my life.
Let me see your power,
Let others see your power through me.
I praise you that even in my weakness,
Your power always overcomes.
Amen.
“He heals the brokenhearted and soothes their wounds.” (Psalm 147: 3)
Father, at times, my heart feels broken,
Crushed beyond repair.
Thank you that in those moments you bring healing,
Your presence fills my emptiness,
Your love soothes my wounds.
Heal my hurts today,
Fill up the empty places with your love.
Help me to walk in your love,
Turn first to you in my hurts,
Linger in the warmth of your presence.
For in you I know life will move forward,
The hurts, though not forgotten, will be soothed,
And the love you give will heal.

“Do not be conformed to the negative thoughts of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:2)
Father, thank you that I’m no longer bound by the negative,
But rather transformed by your renewing of my mind.
Forgive me for letting the negative creep in,
Instead, help me to focus with your expectation.
And I praise you that you have set me free.
Amen.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. If you live with me and I live in you, you will bear abundant fruit.” (John 15:5)
Father, thank you for your abundant fruit,
Fill my life with your fruitfulness.
Forgive me for trying to create my own fruit,
Instead help me to simply produce your fruit.
I praise you for your fruitful life beyond imagination.
Amen.
“Eyes have not seen, nor ears heard, nor has entered into imagination all the things God has prepared for those who love him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)
God, I praise you for your unlimited power.
Give me what I can’t even imagine.
Forgive me for being limited by my expectation.
Help me only to be limited by your unlimited power.
Then I will see beyond my imagination.

God thank you for your amazing power in prayer.
Unleash it as you have promised.
Forgive me for underestimating your power.
Help me expect it especially facing the unconquerable.
For when I expect then I will see. Amen.
“Now to him who, through his power within us, is able to do infinitely more than we can ever ask or imagine.” (Ephesians 3:20)
God, thank you for more than I could ask.
I pray for more than I could imagine.
Forgive me for limiting you with my non-imagination.
Help me to expect the unimaginable.
I will praise you for your imaginable. Amen
“If God is for us, who or what can possibly prevail against us?” (Romans 8:31)
God, sometimes I feel overwhelmed. Thank you that in those times you still hold all power. No one and nothing can overcome your love. Surround and fill me with your power and love. And help me to focus only on that especially when feeling overwhelmed. I praise you, even in the midst of my challenges, as I wait confidently for you to prevail. Amen
