“God will never forget the needy; nor the hope and prayer of the afflicted.” (Psalm 9:18)

For a season you may struggle but in the end God will answer.

Father,

   Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with challenges.  I struggle to stay on top.

      Yet, you’ve promised you hear my prayers and answer every one in your perfection.

   Rescue me from my struggles.  Set my feet on solid ground.

      Forgive me for doubting you.  Focusing more on my problems than your power.

      Fill me with your confidence.  Help me to rest in your hope.

Amen

“Lord, those who know you trust in you because you never abandon those who seek you.” (Psalm 9:10)

We are filled with confidence not because of circumstances but because of God’s faithfulness.

Lord,

   Sometimes my challenges cause me to worry because they seem overwhelming,

      Yet, I rest in your confidence when I remember your unfailing faithfulness.

   Help me to look with eyes of confidence rather than worry,

      Fill me with your peace in place of my fear,

      Surround me with your faithfulness that I don’t deserve but diligently seek.

The Lord rules the world with righteousness and brings fairness to all people.” (Psalm 9: 8)

Life may seem unfair at times but God brings fairness where there is none.

Lord,

   Sometimes it seems like life is so unfair,

      Yet, you promise you will make it fair.

   Help me to rest knowing you are not resting,

      Give me your peace knowing you make all things right,

      Let me see you win so I don’t need to strive to.
