“You guide me down a broad and secure path so that my feet never slip.”  (Psalm 18: 36)

Lord,

   Thank you for guiding me clearly and keeping me on your path securely,

      Though I may trip I won’t fall and though I many wander I won’t be lost.

   Guide me in your path continually, keep me safely in it constantly.

      Remind me to look for your way first and have confidence it’s always best.

“Your salvation is my shield, your hands hold me up, your grace makes me great.”  (Psalm 18: 35)

Father,

   When I’m threatened you shield me, when I’m weak you strengthen me,

      Thank you for salvation that changed me and grace which makes me great.

   Give me your grace I don’t deserve and greatness I can’t achieve,

      Fill me with confidence in your power and peace in your love.

“God fills me with strength and guides me in his perfect path.” (Psalm 18: 32)

God,

   Thank you for filling me with your strength and guiding me with your wisdom,

      You’re with me continually especially when I’m weak and my path is dark.

   Give me your strength to overcome my weakness and your light in my darkness,

      Fill me with confidence so I may see your power and my path more clearly.

“With your help God I can overcome any enemy and leap over any wall.”  (Psalm 18: 29)

Father,

   Thank you for helping me overcome enemies and leap over walls,

      And that you are continually giving me strength to do both.

   By your power weaken my enemies and flatten my barriers,

      Give me confidence in your power that I may see it when I need it most.

“Lord, you light a lamp in me and turn my darkness into light.”  (Psalm 18: 28)

Lord,

   I praise you for constantly leading me through the darkness into light,

      And that you are with me continually lighting the path before me.

   Light your lamp within me, illuminate  the path before me,

      Fill me with your light so I can see clearly your way in which you’re leading

“The Lord has rewarded me according to the righteousness given to me; he has blessed me according to the cleanness I have been washed with.”  (Psalm 18: 20)

Father,

   Thank you for giving me your gift of righteousness and rewarding me accordingly,

      And that you bless me even more as you continue to perfect me.

   Bless me with your righteousness which I don’t deserve,

      Perfect me that I can see all of your blessings you love to give.
