The Powerful Promises

“Heaven and earth will end but my promises will never end.” (Matthew 24: 35)

All may fail around you but God’s promises never fail.

Power and Glory

“The people of the world, who rejected God, will mourn when they see the Son of God coming on the clouds of heaven with all power and glory.” (Matthew 24: 30)

Some, who reject God, may celebrate their power now but they’ll weep when they see the one who has all power return to establish his kingdom on earth.

Loved and Protected

“How often I have longed to wrap my arms around you in love, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you would not let me.” (Matthew 23: 37)

God offers his loving embrace and protection but you must accept it.

Exalted

“Those who exalt themselves will be humbled, but those who humble themselves before God will be exalted by Him.” (Matthew 23: 12).

Those who bow before God will be made great before men.

Gentle Power

“Look, your king is coming to you.  He is gentle and brings peace.” (Matthew 21: 5)

Our Lord comes in power as a king yet with gentleness and peace.

Free at Last

“Jesus said, ‘I did not come to be served but to serve others and to give my life to set many free.” (Matthew 20: 28)

In Jesus, we are set free from the past and given a new life for the future.

God Given Greatness

“Those who are last now will become first, and those who are first now will become last.” (Matthew 20: 16)

You may feel like you are last now but in the end God will make you first.

Blessings Multiplied

“Whatever you have given up to follow me you will receive multiples of in this life and in the life to come.” (Matthew 19: 29)

Whatever following Jesus has cost you it is an investment in blessings multiplied now and for eternity.

Touched by God

“When Jesus had placed his hands on the children and blessed them, he left.” (Matthew 19: 15)

When you ask, Jesus will touch you with his blessings.

Accepted into God’s Kingdom

“Jesus said, ‘Let the children come to me.  Don’t stop them.  For the kingdom of heaven belongs to those who have faith like these children.'” (Matthew 19: 14)

When you come in child like faith Jesus offers you to be part of his kingdom.
